EDUCATIONAL FEATURES

What to Bring

  • The dormitory rooms at Christopher Newport University are equipped with two beds, mini-refrigerators, and hook-ups for telephones (local calls only), cable TV, and computers. The dormitory provides linen, towels, pillows, and blankets. You are encouraged to bring an extra blanket.

  • Participants may wear comfortable clothes. However, cut-off shorts and flip-flops are not appropriate. A light sweater will be needed inside on some days. One dressier outfit will be needed for the final banquet.

  • There are no official activities scheduled for the weekend.

  • Log onto http://www.hamptonroads.com/ for information about the area. This site is outside the NASA domain.
