Below we have given a description of the course for which you will earn credit at the end of your participation in the NASA/NIA Pre-Service Teacher Institute.

Course Description:

EDCI 498 - NASA Internship Experience for Elementary/Middle Mathematics, Science and Technology Pre-Service Teachers. This course will focus on methods and materials for teaching mathematics, science and technology in integrated settings. Pre-Service teachers will be exposed to various NASA resources and cutting-edge technology. It will include preparation and practice with materials in authentic settings and will be designed especially to meet the needs of elementary/middle school teachers in grades K through 8.
